Brother Ali Chicago Concert reviews
Andre Rieu -- Delightfully Gifted
I discovered that Brother Ali was coming to town in June, so I got tickets as a surprise Christmas gift for my husband, as we have enjoyed watching his concerts on television over the years. The concert was a delight from the opening parade of the instrumentalists to the final notes of the encore. The talent that Mr. Rieu has assembled is unbelievable. The vocalists were superb and very entertaining. Somehow, Brother Ali made it possible to feel like we were having an intimate evening of music in an arena! He is not only a gifted violinist and orchestra leader but also a most gracious and enchanting host. I don't believe I've ever seen an orchestra have as much fun as they appear to do. The wait was absolutely worth it! What a gift. I would absolutely take any future opportunity to see him perform live.
